meeting held on December 2, 2015, commencing at 12:15 PM, in Committee Room #4, Second Floor, London City Hall.

PRESENT: M. Bloxam (Chair), J. Baxter, K. Birchall, S. Brooks, S. Hall, M. Hodge, J. Howell, C. Kushnir, L. Langdon, S. Ratz, G. Sass, B. Schulz and D. Szoller and B. Mercier (Secretary).

ABSENT: S. Armstrong, T. Arnos and B. Branfireun.

ALSO PRESENT: G. Barrett.

I.	CALL TO ORDER

1.	Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary interests were disclosed.

2.	8th Report of the Advisory Committee on the Environment

That it BE NOTED that the 8th Report of the Advisory Committee on the Environment from its meeting held on November 4, 2015, was received.

3.	9th Report of the Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee

That it BE NOTED that the 9th Report of the Environment and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee from its meeting held on November 19, 2015, was received.

4.	6th Report of the Transportation Advisory Committee

That it BE NOTED that the 6th Report of the Transportation Advisory Committee from its meeting held on November 3, 2015, was received.

5.	7th Report of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee

That it BE NOTED that the 7th Report of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee from its meeting held on October 28, 2015, was received.

SUB-COMMITTEES & WORKING GROUPS

6.	Built Environment

That it BE NOTED that the Built Environment Sub-Committee minutes from its meeting held on November 16, 2015, were received.

7.	Education and Outreach

That it BE NOTED that the Education and Outreach Sub-Committee minutes from its meeting held on December 2, 2015, were received.

Energy

That it BE NOTED that the Energy Sub-Committee minutes from its meeting held on November 13, 2015, were received.

ACE Sub-Committees

That it BE NOTED that the Advisory Committee on the Environment (ACE) held a general discussion with respect to its Sub-Committees; it being noted that minor amendments were made to the Sub-committees membership.

V.	ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION

10.	2016 Work Plan

That the revised attached 2016 Work Plan for the Advisory Committee on the Environment BE FORWARDED to the Municipal Council for consideration.

11.	ACE Best Practices (Susan Ratz)

That it BE NOTED that a communication from S. Ratz, with respect to the Advisory Committee on the Environment best practices, was received.

12.	Outdoor Lighting

That the matter of an outdoor lighting policy BE REFERRED to the Built Environment Sub-Committee for review, with a report back at the next Advisory Committee on the Environment (ACE) on a proposed recommendation for the ACE's consideration; it being noted that the ACE received a communication from K. Birchall, with respect to this matter.

13.	EEPAC Report

That it BE NOTED that a verbal report from S. Hall, with respect to her attendance at the November 19, 2015 Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee meeting, was received.

DEFERRED MATTERS/ADDITIONAL BUSINESS

14.	Election of Chair and Vice-Chair

That M. Bloxam and S. Hall BE APPOINTED Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, for the term ending November 30, 2016.

15.	Municipal Council Resolution - 8th Report of the Advisory Committee on the Environment

That it BE NOTED that a Municipal Council resolution adopted at its session held on November 24, 2015, with respect to the 8th Report of the Advisory Committee on the Environment, was received.
