The Council meets in Special Session in the Council Chambers this day at 7:04 PM.
PRESENT:  Mayor M. Brown and Councillors M. Salih, J. Helmer, M. Cassidy, P. Squire, J. Morgan, A. Hopkins, V. Ridley, S. Turner, H.L. Usher, T. Park and J. Zaifman and C. Saunders (City Clerk).   ABSENT:  Councillors M. van Holst, B. Armstrong and P. Hubert   ALSO PRESENT:  A. Zuidema, J. Braam, B. Coxhead, S. Datars Bere, K. Dawtrey, J.M. Fleming, M. Hayward, G. Kotsifas, L. Livingstone, B. Martinez, V. McAlea Major, R. Paynter and B. Westlake-Power.
At the beginning of the Meeting all Members are present, except Councillors M. van Holst, B. Armstrong, J. Morgan and P. Hubert.

 

At 7:06 PM Councillor J. Morgan enters the meeting.

MOTION FOR IN CAMERA SESSION

 

Motion made by Councillor M. Cassidy and seconded by Councillor J. Zaifman to Approve that Council rise and go into the Committee of the Whole, in camera, for the purpose of considering the following matter:

 

a)

A matter pertaining to reports, advice and recommendations of officers and employees of the Corporation concerning labour relations and employee negotiations in regard to the Corporation’s associations or unions including communications necessary for that purpose and for the purpose of providing instructions and directions to officers and employees of the Corporation; and advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; and the security of the property of the municipality, including communications necessary for that purpose.
