That it BE NOTED that D. Dudek disclosed a
pecuniary interest in clause 4 of this Report having to do with the Request
for Demolition for the property located at 183 King Street, by indicating
that his employer is presently working with the Applicant on another matter.

Application for Demolition Permit - 348
Sunningdale Road East
|
That, on the
recommendation of the Managing Director, Planning and City Planner, with the
advice of the Manager, Urban Regeneration, the following actions be taken with
respect to the request for demolition of the residence located at 348
Sunningdale Road East:
i)
the
Chief Building Official BE ADVISED that Council does not intend to issue a
notice of its intent to designate the property under section 29 of the Ontario
Heritage Act; and,
ii)
the
Civic Administration BE REQUESTED to photo document the subject residence,
prior to demolition;
it being noted that
the London Advisory Committee on Heritage received a presentation from J.
Yanchula, Manager, Urban Regeneration.

Application for Demolition Permit – 183
King Street
|
That, on the
recommendation of the Managing Director, Planning and City Planner, with the
advice of the Manager, Urban Regeneration and having consulted the London Advisory
Committee on Heritage, the application under section 42 of the Ontario
Heritage Act for a permit to demolish the building located at 183 King
Street in the Downtown London Heritage Conservation District BE REFUSED and
that notice of refusal BE GIVEN to the applicant;
it being noted that
the London Advisory Committee on Heritage received a presentation from the
Manager, Urban Regeneration; and,
it being further
noted that the London Advisory Committee on Heritage strongly opposes the
request for demolition, as the subject property has significant heritage value
for the City of London.
