The City of London is situated on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek (AUh-nish-in-ah-bek), Haudenosaunee (Ho-den-no-show-nee), Lūnaapéewak (Len-ah-pay-wuk) and Attawandaron (Add-a-won-da-run).
We honour and respect the history, languages and culture of the diverse Indigenous people who call this territory home. The City of London is currently home to many First Nations, Metis and Inuit people today.
As representatives of the people of the City of London, we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and live in this territory.

  • Discussion regarding an overview of the scope of work plans, budget plans, and to establish a work plan for this year.
  • Ideas regarding best use of budget funds.
  • Discussion on how AWCAC can help facilitate response to injured wildlife and explore any gaps or needs for problem solving transport to treatment and rehabilitation centres when possible.
  • Recommendations from AWCAC related to fireworks and their impacts to companion animals and wildlife.
  • Pollinator/wildlife friendly gardens as it relates to property standards and promoting indigenous flora and faunda/conservation efforts.
  • Working group updates regarding the Bird Friendly Guidelines applications and light ordinances.
  • Request to Civic Administration for updates regarding the above-noted programs.
