That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary
interests were disclosed.

That it BE NOTED that the Environmental and
Ecological Planning Advisory Committee elected S. Hall as Vice Chair for the
term ending November 30, 2017.

That it BE NOTED that the 1st Report of the
Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee from its meeting
held on December 15, 2016, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the 1st Report of the
Trees and Forests Advisory Committee from its meeting held on January 4,
2017, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the 1st Report of the
Advisory Committee on the Environment from its meeting held on December 7,
2016, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council
resolution from its session held on December 6, 2016, with respect to the
12th Report of the Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee,
was received.
|
That the following Working Groups, BE
ESTABLISHED to review the application by Sifton Properties Limited, relating
to the properties located at 3614 and 3630 Talbot Road and 6621 Pack Road and
to report back at the next Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory
Committee (EEPAC) meeting:
Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Review –
I. Whiteside and A. Regehr;
Subject Land Status Report – R. Trudeau
(Lead), C. Evans and S. Levin;
it being noted that the EEPAC reviewed and
received a Notice, dated January 11, 2017, from N. Pasato, Senior Planner,
with respect to this matter.

That it BE NOTED that the communication
dated January 6, 2017, from J. Petruniak, Biologist, Project Manager, Dillon
Consulting Limited to L. McDougall, Ecologist Planner, Environmental and
Parks Planning, with respect to the abundance of False Rue-anemone and Green
Dragon colonies in the Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally
Significant Area, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the report from
Dillon Consulting, with respect to the Invasive Species Control Program
results for the Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally Significant
Area, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the 2016 document
from Environment and Climate Change Canada, with respect to the Recovery
Strategy for the False Rue-anemone (Enemion biternatum) in Canada, was
received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the Ecological
Restoration and Accessible Trail project poster for the Westminster
Ponds/Pond Mills Environmentally Significant Area/Saunders Cabin area Canada 150
Community grant, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the Nature in the
City 2017 pamphlet, was received.
|
That the Working Group comments dated
December 12, 2016, related to the Baker Lands Environmental Impact Study for
the properties located at 1577 and 1687 Wilton Grove Road, BE FORWARDED to
the Civic Administration for consideration.

That the following actions be taken with
respect to the Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee
Workplan:
a) the
attached 2017 Work Plan for the Environmental and Ecological Planning
Advisory Committee BE FORWARDED to the Municipal Council for consideration;
and,
b) it
BE NOTED that the attached 2016 Environmental and Ecological Planning
Advisory Committee Workplan Summary was received.

That it BE NOTED that the communication
dated November 29, 2016, from Environmental and Parks Planning, with respect
to the Addendum to the Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally
Significant Areas Natural Heritage Inventory and Evaluation, 2015, was
received.

That it BE NOTED that consideration of the
matter of cats roaming in Environmentally Significant Areas was deferred to
the February meeting of the Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory
Committee.
|
