The City of London is situated on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek (AUh-nish-in-ah-bek), Haudenosaunee (Ho-den-no-show-nee), Lūnaapéewak (Len-ah-pay-wuk) and Attawandaron (Add-a-won-da-run).
We honour and respect the history, languages and culture of the diverse Indigenous people who call this territory home. The City of London is currently home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit today.
As representatives of the people of the City of London, we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and live in this territory.

    The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM; it being noted that M. Ambrogio, M. Bloxam, J. Dent, S. Jory and S. Singh Dohil were in remote attendance.

     

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary interests were disclosed.

  • That it BE NOTED that the 4th Report of the Community Advisory Committee on Planning, from its meeting held on April 10, 2024, was received.

  • That it BE NOTED that the Media Release, as appended to the Agenda, from the London Heritage Council, with respect to a Call for Heritage Collectibles for the New Labatt Memorial Park Collection, was received.

  • That it BE NOTED that the Public Meeting Notice, dated May 1, 2024, from C. Maton, Senior Planner, with respect to Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments related to the properties located at 193-199 College Avenue, was received.

  • That it BE NOTED that the Stewardship Sub-Committee Report, as appended to the Agenda, with respect to the property located at 432 Grey Street, was received.

  • That it BE NOTED that the Community Advisory Committee on Planning (CACP) reviewed a staff report, dated May 8, 2024, with respect to the Repeal of the Heritage Designating By-law for the Property Located at 432 Grey Street, and the CACP supports the staff recommendation.

  • That the matter of the property located at 1494 Commissioners Road West BE REFERRED to the Stewardship Sub-Committee for further research into whether the property should be recommended for a heritage designation; it being noted that the communication, as appended to the Agenda, and the verbal delegation from M. Parezanovic, with respect to this matter, were received.

  • That it BE NOTED that the Heritage Planners' Report, dated May 8, 2024, was received.
