TRANSPORTATION
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
meeting held on May
23, 2017, commencing at 12:15 PM, in Committee Room #4, Second Floor, London
City Hall.
PRESENT: A. Stratton (Chair), S. Brooks,
G. Debbert, S. Greenly, H. Ketelaars, J. Kostyniuk, H. Moussa, L. Norman and A.
Penney and J. Bunn (Secretary).
ABSENT: G. Bikas, A. Farahi and J. Madden.
ALSO PRESENT: M. Elmadhoon.
That it BE NOTED that J. Kostyniuk
disclosed a pecuniary interest in clause 8 of this Report, having to do with
the Wonderland Road Improvements Class Environmental Assessment Study, by
indicating that his employer is involved in the study.

That it BE NOTED that the 5th Report of the
Transportation Advisory Committee, from its meeting held on April 25, 2017,
was received.

That it BE NOTED that the Construction
Notice dated May 1, 2017, from T. Koza, Transportation Design Engineer, with
respect to the 2017 Bradley Avenue West Extension, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that A. Stratton will
attend the City of London Complete Streets Design Manual Project Stakeholder
Workshop on behalf of the Transportation Advisory Committee.

That it BE NOTED that the staff report
dated May 9, 2017, from the Managing Director, Environmental and Engineering
Services and City Engineer, with respect to the Vision Zero - London Road
Safety Strategy, was received.

That the Civic Works Committee BE REQUESTED
to provide guidance to the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) with
respect to its expectations for the TAC as it relates to the attached
current Terms of Reference; it being noted that the TAC held a general
discussion related to this matter.

That the revised attached 2017 Work
Plan for the Transportation Advisory Committee BE FORWARDED to the Municipal
Council for consideration.

That it BE NOTED that the Notice of Study
Commencement for the Wonderland Road Improvements Class Environmental
Assessment Study from T. Koza, Transportation Design Engineer, J. Ackworth,
Technologist II and J. Johnson and S. Stanlake-Wong, Dillon Consulting, was
received.

That it BE NOTED that the Notice dated May
18, 2017, from L. Mottram, Senior Planner, with respect to an application by
Sifton Properties Limited relating to the property located at 2810 Sheffield
Place, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the Notice dated May
17, 2017, from L. Mottram, Senior Planner, with respect to an application by
Thames Village Joint Venture Corporation, related to the property located at
1742 Hamilton Road, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the Notice dated May 17,
2017, from L. Mottram, Senior Planner, with respect to an application by
Thames Village Joint Venture Corporation, related to the properties located
at 1738, 1742, 1752 and 1756 Hamilton Road, was received.
