ADVISORY COMMITTEE
meeting held on April
7, 2015, commencing at 12:15 PM, in Committee Room #5, Second Floor, London
City Hall.

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary
interests were disclosed.

That A. Stratton and J. Kostyniuk BE
APPOINTED as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, for the term ending
November 30, 2015.

That it BE NOTED that the committee
orientation from B. Mercier, Committee Secretary, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the
presentation from A. Stratton, with respect to the Commuter Challenge, was
not available at this time.
|
That it BE NOTED that the 1st Report
of the Transportation Advisory Committee from its meeting held on February 3,
2015, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the Municipal
Council resolution adopted at its meeting held on February 24, 2015, with
respect to appointments to the Transportation Advisory Committee, was
received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the Municipal
Council resolution adopted at its meeting held on February 9, 2015 with
respect to creating Dundas Place, was received.
|
That the Notice dated March 23, 2015, from
N. Pasato, Senior Planner, with respect to an application submitted by Barry
Zagdanski c/o Z-Group, relating to the properties located at 132, 146 and 184
Exeter Road, BE RECEIVED.

That the Notice dated February 18, 2015,
from C. Smith, Senior Planner, with respect to an application submitted by
Kirkness Consulting Inc., relating to the properties located at 895 and 905
Sarnia Road, BE RECEIVED.
|
That the Notice of Study Commencement,
submitted by the City of London, relating to the Municipal Class
Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the Wharncliffe Road South corridor
from Becher Street to Commissioners Road West, BE RECEIVED.

That A. Farahi BE APPOINTED as the Transportation
Advisory Committee (TAC) representative on the Cycling Advisory Committee; it
being noted that the TAC received a communication dated March 1, 2015, from J.
Martin, with respect to this matter.

That it BE NOTED that a verbal
update from the Manager, Transportation Planning, with respect to the
Highbury Avenue and Hamilton Road intersection improvements and Environmental
Assessment, was received.
|
That the following actions be taken with
respect to the 2015 Annual Warranted Sidewalk Program:
a) the
report dated April 7, 2015, from the Manager, Transportation Planning and
Design, with respect to this matter BE RECEIVED;
b) the
Civic Administration BE REQUESTED to consider London Transit routes
when planning sidewalks;
c) the
Civic Administration BE REQUESTED to provide information to the
Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) with respect to the criteria used
when prioritizing the warranted sidewalk list and when that criteria was last
updated;
d) the
Civic Administration BE REQUESTED to provide to the TAC information
related to the cost for all warranted sidewalks.
