Advisory Committee
meeting held on May
25, 2017, commencing at 3:03 PM, in Committee Room #4, Second Floor, London
City Hall.
PRESENT: M. Dawthorne (Chair), J. Bell, M.

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary
interests were disclosed.

|
That Municipal Council BE REQUESTED to
support Disabilities Mentoring Day on October 25, 2017 and encourage all City
service areas to participate; it being noted that the Accessibility Advisory
Committee received the attached communication from L. Livingstone,
March of Dimes Canada.

That it BE NOTED that the attached
presentation from C. Da Silva, Specialist, Policy (AODA), with respect to the
Community Diversity and Inclusion Strategy draft content, was received.
|
|
That it BE NOTED that the Built Environment
and Facilities Sub-Committee report from its meeting held on May 8, 2017, was
received.
|
|
That it BE NOTED that the Education and
Awareness Sub-Committee report from its meeting held on May 8, 2017, was
received.
|
|
That it BE NOTED that the 4th Report of the
Accessibility Advisory Committee from its meeting held on April 27, 2017, was
received.
|
|
That Civic Administration BE ADVISED that
K. Husain will attend the stakeholder workshop for the City of London
Complete Streets Design Manual Project, on behalf of the Accessibility
Advisory Committee.

That it BE NOTED that the Notice from L.
McDougall, Ecologist, with respect to the Community Open House for the Medway
Valley Heritage Forest ESA (south) Conservation Master Plan, was received.

|
That it BE NOTED that consideration of the
Accessibility-Themed Open Houses was deferred until the next meeting due to
loss of quorum.
|
