• That it BE NOTED that a verbal presentation from J. Turner, Organizer, Emancipation Day, with respect to Emancipation Day Celebrations to be held on September 23, 2018, was received.

7th Meeting of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee

• That it BE NOTED that the 7th Report of the Trees and Forestry Advisory Committee, from its meeting held on July 25, 2018, was received.

3.2

Notice of Study Commencement - Adelaide Street North Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study

• That it BE NOTED that the Notice of Study Commencement from H. Houtari, Parsons Inc. and M. Davenport, City of London, with respect to the Adelaide Street North Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study, was received.

Items for Discussion

5.1

TFAC Assisting in the Development of the Communication Strategy

• That a Working Group BE ESTABLISHED, consisting of A. Meilutis, A. Morrison, M. Szabo and T. Khan, with respect to the Tree-Protection by-Law to assist in the communication strategy.

5.2

Establishment of Working Group for the Urban Forestry Strategy

• That discussion regarding the Establishment of a Working Group for the Urban Forestry Strategy BE DEFERRED to the next Trees and Forests Advisory Committee meeting.

5.3

Work Plan

• That it BE NOTED that the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee held a general discussion, with respect to review of the work plan.

Deferred Matters/Additional Business

6.1

(ADDED) Municipal Council Resolution regarding its meeting held on July 24th, 2018 with respect to the 6th report of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee

• That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council Resolution adopted at its meeting held on July 24, 2018, with respect to the 6th Report of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee, was received.
