Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the City Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer:

(a) the City of London 2012 Accessibility Plan BE ADOPTED, specifìcally Appendix "A" (attached) of the Plan which identifies recommended New Strategic Actions the City intends to undertake from January 2012 to December 2012.

(b) the City of London Council THANK its Accessibility Advisory Committee for their continued support and extensive background work into the development of the City of London 2012 Accessibility Plan.

Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the Director of Parks & Recreation, with the concurrence of the Executive Director of Community Services, the following report BE RECEIVED for information purposes.

8:00 pm ADDED - DELEGATION - East-Southeast Recreation Facility Siting Project

 

a)

Bill Coxhead, Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Neighbourhood and Children's Services re: East-Southeast Recreation Facility Siting Project for Final Report

 

Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the Directors of Parks and Recreation and Neighbourhood and Children’s Services, with the concurrence of the Executive Director of Community Services, the following actions BE TAKEN: i. The report in Appendix A “East/Southeast London Community & Recreation Facility Siting Project” BE RECEIVED; ii. The delivery model recommendation, providing two (2) locations for new community and recreation facilities in East/Southeast London, BE ENDORSED; iii. The preferred target location areas for the two (2) facilities BE ENDORSED; and, iv. Civic administration BE DIRECTED to continue to work with the consultant group to investigate potential sites within the recommended target areas and to report back with recommended sites in a confidential report in early 2012.

Director of Municipal Housing - Request for Capital Funding from the Social Housing Major Repairs and Upgrades Stabilization Reserve Fund for 98 Baseline Road West

 

Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the Director of Municipal Housing, with the concurrence of the Executive Director of Community Services, the following actions BE TAKEN:

 

1)         Cheshire Homes of London Inc. BE APPROVED for an allocation of up to $392,772.24 (incl. HST) for the installation of a second interior elevator at 98 Baseline Road West, and

 

2)         The funding allocation from the Social Housing Major Repairs and Upgrades Stabilization Reserve Fund recommended above be as set out in the attached Appendix A – Sources of Financing Report.

 

 

8.

Director of Municipal Housing - Housing Services Act

 

Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the Director of Municipal Housing, with the concurrence of the Executive Director of Community Services, the following report with regard to the implementation of the Housing Services Act 2011 BE RECEIVED for information purposes.

 

9.

Director, Municipal Housing - Municipal Partnership for the Development of an Information System for Social Housing Administration

 

Recommendation:  That, on the recommendation of the Director of Municipal Housing, with the concurrence of the Executive Director of Community Services the following report BE RECEIVED for information.
