AND FORESTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
meeting held on October
25, 2017, commencing at 12:16 PM, in Committee Room #4, Second Floor, London
City Hall.
PRESENT: N. St. Amour (Acting Chair),
T. Khan, J. Kogelheide, C. Linton, G. Mitchell, and R. Walker and J. Martin
(Secretary).
ABSENT: C. Haindle and R.
Mannella.
ALSO PRESENT: A. Beaton, K.
Hodgins, M. Pease, J. Ramsay, J. Spence and B. Williamson.

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary
interests were disclosed.

That it BE NOTED that a verbal presentation
from M. Pease, Manager, Development Planning, with respect to the site
approval process for tree planting and landscape plans; it being noted that
the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee (TFAC) was advised that the annual
process to review and update the Design Specifications and Design Manual is
in the initial stages; it being further noted that the TFAC deferred additional
discussion with respect to this matter to the November meeting.

That it BE NOTED that a presentation from
J. Ramsay, Project Director, Rapid Transit, with respect to Shift Rapid Transit
project, was received.

That the Manager Urban Forestry BE
REQUESTED to provide an update with respect to the Tree Protection By-law at
the November meeting of the TFAC; it being noted that a verbal update from J.
Spence, Manager, Urban Forestry with respect to this matter, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the 10th Report of
the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee, from its meeting held on September 27,
2017, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the notes prepared by
C. Linton from the Municipal Advisory Group Meeting #1 from its meeting held
October 3, 2017,were received.
