meeting held on March
23, 2017, commencing at 12:18 PM, in Committee Room #3, Second Floor, London
City Hall.
PRESENT: L. Norman (Chair), J. Bennett, S.

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary
interests were disclosed.

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety
and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP) received the Federation of
Canadian Municipalities - Diverse Voices for Change Initiative survey.

That it BE NOTED that the 2nd Report of the
Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee from its meeting
held on February 22, 2017, was received.
|
That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council
resolution adopted at its meeting held on March 2, 2017 with respect to the
1st Report of the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee,
was received.

That the following actions be taken with
respect to the 2017 Community Safety Week proposed activities:
a)
the
attached proposed draft Community Safety Week activities poster BE
AMENDED to include the dates of the Student Social Media Award Ceremony, the
Car Seat Safety event and the Public Input Session;
b)
the
above-noted poster BE APPROVED in principle; it being noted that event
locations need to be confirmed and additional details are required;
c)
the
attached proposed draft Online Survey BE APPROVED in principle; it
being noted that the survey questions will be revised and be considered for
approval at the April 27, 2017 Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory
Committee meeting; and,
d)
the
Minutes from the March 10, 2017 Community Safety and Crime Prevention
Advisory Committee Safety Week 2017 Planning Committee, BE RECEIVED.

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety
and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP) heard a verbal presentation
and the attached statistics from D. LeBold, London Fire Department,
with respect to the London Fire Department update, was received.
