meeting held on January 28, 2016, commencing at 12:32 PM, in Committee Room #1, Second Floor, London City Hall.

That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary interests were disclosed.

7th Report of Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee

 

That it BE NOTED that the 7th Report of the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee, from its meeting held on November 19, 2015, was received.

3.

Active and Safe Routes to School Update

 

That it BE NOTED that the attached presentation from Tara MacDaniel, Public Health Nurse, Middlesex London Health Unit and Dr. Andrew Clark, Post-Doctors Fellow/Project Manager, Western University, with respect to an update on the activities of the Active and Safe Routes to School, was received.

 

4.

London Block Parent® Program Update

 

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP) heard a verbal update from M. O’Halloran, London Block Parent® Program, with respect to the recent activities undertaken by the organization.

 

5.

Fire Services Update

 

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP) heard a verbal update from D. Lebold, London Fire Services, with respect to the 2015 Fire Services statistics; it being noted that the 2015 Fire Services statistics will be provided at the next meeting; it being further noted that the CSCP was provided with copies of the "From Our Family To Yours" brochure as prepared by the London Fire Services.

 

 

 

 

6.

Draft 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget

 

That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council resolution adopted at its meeting held on January 12, 2016, with respect to the draft 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget, was received.

 

7.

2016 Work Plan

 

That the 2016 Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP)  Work Plan BE POSTPONED to the next meeting; it being noted that the CSCP made significant progress on its Work Plan.

8.

(ADDED)   Children’s Safety Village Update

 

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee heard a verbal presentation from J. Bennett, with respect to changes being undertaken at the Children’s Safety Village.

 

9.

NeighbourGood London

 

That it BE NOTED that the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CSCP) heard a verbal presentation from J. Walter, Manager 1, Community Development, with respect to the NeighbourGood London program; it being noted that the CSCP reviewed and received the following communications with respect to this matter:

 

·                    the attached NeighbourGood London webpage snapshot;

·                    the Great Neighbourhoods Start Here brochure; and,

·                    the London Strengthening Neighbourhoods Strategy, 2010-2014.
