meeting held on September 16, 2015, commencing at 7:30 PM, in Committee Room #1, Second Floor, London City Hall.

That it BE NOTED that a communication and the attached presentation from W. Abbott, Division Manager, Solid Waste Management, with respect to the environmental screening process related to the proposed W12A Landfill service area amendment, was received.

That it BE NOTED that the 2nd Report of the Agricultural Advisory Committee from its meeting held on March 18, 2015, was received.

4th, 5th and 6th Reports of the Advisory Committee on the Environment

 

That it BE NOTED that the 4th, 5th and 6th Reports of the Advisory Committee on the Environment from its meetings held on April 1, May 6 and September 2, 2015, respectively, were received.

Province's Pollinator Health Discussion Process

 

That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council resolution from its session held on April 14, 2015, with respect to the Province's pollinator health discussion process, was received.

 

7.

Environmental Assessment on Highway 401/Colonel Talbot Road/Highway 4 Interchange

 

That it BE NOTED that the Municipal Council resolution from its session held on May 12, 2015, with respect to the Environmental Assessment Addendum conducted by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for the reconstruction of Highway 401/Colonel Talbot Road-Highway 4 Interchange, was received.

 

 

 

 

8.

Notice of Application - City Wide - City of London

 

That the Planner on file, BE REQUESTED to provide the Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) with the specific proposed changes to Section 45.3 of Zoning By-law Z.-1 related to the regulation regarding setbacks to adjacent residential uses, for mushroom farm uses; it being noted that the AAC reviewed and received a Notice dated August 20, 2015, from L. Maitland, Planner 1, with respect to amending zoning regulations for mushroom farms.

Wonderland Road South Class Environmental Assessment

 

That it BE NOTED that a communication dated August 18, 2015, from M. Chiu, Consultant Project Manager, MMM Group, with respect to the Notice of Study Completion for the Wonderland Road South Class Environmental Assessment, was received.

Second Draft - The London Plan

 

That it BE NOTED that a verbal report from S. Franke, with respect to the City of London food system and farmland, as it relates to the second draft of the London Plan, was received.

Zoning Requests that Involve Agricultural Lands

 

That it BE NOTED that the Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) held a general discussion with respect to how the AAC receives zoning amendment applications involving agricultural lands; it being noted that the Committee Secretary advised the AAC on the process for the AAC to receive Planning applications.

AAC Representative on the London Advisory Committee on Heritage

 

That the appointment of an Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) representative to the London Advisory Committee on Heritage (LACH) BE DEFERRED to its next meeting; it being noted that the AAC reviewed and received the Terms of Reference for the LACH.

DEFERRED MATTERS/ADDITIONAL BUSINESS

 

13.

(ADDED)Urban Agriculture Policy

 

That the Civic Administration BE REQUESTED to consult with the Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) with respect to the feasibility of an overarching urban agriculture policy as outlined in the attached Municipal Council resolution, from its meeting held on September 1, 2015.
