Boulevard Protection By-law - Planting Trees on Boulevard.

That the Civic Administration BE REQEUSTED to work with the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee (TFAC) to develop protocols to:

a)            educate the community with respect to community tree planting on boulevards; and,

b)            encourage community tree planting on boulevards;

it being noted that the TFAC received a verbal update from I. Listar, Manager, Urban Forestry, with respect to this matter.

DEFERRED MATTERS/ADDITIONAL BUSINESS

Land Developments in London

That additional discussion with respect to land development in London BE DEFERRED to the next meeting of the Trees and Forests Advisory Committee; it being noted that a general discussion was held with respect to the correlation between the urban forest, the tree planting strategy and land development in London; it being further noted that a verbal presentation with respect to this matter from C. Linton, was received with respect to this matter

Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee Representative

That it BE NOTED that consideration with respect to the appointment of a Trees and Forests Advisory Committee (TFAC) member to the Environmental and Ecological Planning Advisory Committee Representative was deferred to a future meeting of the TFAC.
