That it BE NOTED that no pecuniary interests
were disclosed.

that the 10th Report of the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee, from its
meeting held on October 6, 2016, was received.

That it BE NOTED
that the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) combined the Wildlife
Sub-committee and the Companion Animal Sub-committee and renamed this
committee to the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) Working Group.

That it BE NOTED
that the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) heard a verbal update from
W. Brown with respect to the Dark Skies.

That it BE NOTED
that the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) deferred discussion with
respect to the Animal Control By-law as it relates to snakes, to a future
meeting of the AWAC, when D. Borden is available initiative.

that the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee (AWAC) heard a verbal update from
J. MacKay and held a general discussion with respect to the urban wildlife conflict
resolution strategies for communities - wildlife response strategy.

That it BE NOTED that the Animal Welfare Advisory
Committee reviewed and updated the attached 2016 Work Plan.

That it BE NOTED that the Animal Welfare
Advisory Committee (AWAC) set November 28, 2016 as the date for the London
Animal Care Centre Tour.

that a communication dated October 28, 2016 from P. Newbould with respect to
his resignation from the Animal Welfare Advisory Committee, was received.

(ADDED) Business Licensing of Pet Stores
|
That it BE NOTED
that the Civic Administration requested that the Animal Welfare Advisory
Committee compile a list of allowable species and a list prohibitive species
for pet store sales; it being noted that these lists will be used in the
development of regulating pet stores through business licensing.
